18th of July

A very important birthday today, Holly is four. Happy Birthday angel!

Remember the dawning of the age of Aquarius? When was that and how long did it last? What age are we in now?

Apparently there are real answers to these questions.
The Age of Aquarius isn't just some fanciful era in a hippy musical. Depending on which web page you read, the ages last from 2,000 to 2,160 years long and will arrive in fifty years or the C27th or has dawned.
Anyroad, I was just wondering.

Personally, I'm looking forward to the age of Virgo.

Happy Birthday to Holly!

I remember Aquarius. The age in which we are to be all loving, peace harmony and understanding. I suppose old ways of thinking must die first? In that respect then these world upheavals seem easier to deal with. If I look at it that way. I have a glimmer of comfort out of the corner of my eye anyway.

There is so much information on the age of Aquarius. Too much even but just for 'food for thought' there are some planetary alignments that maybe interesting to think about in relation to what is going on and will be happening with the world.

http://www.mcn.org/greatbear/aquar.htm
7 major planetary cycles and/or conjunctions that will energize the 11th sign of the zodiac--Aquarius--from now until 2087. Uranus in Aquarius -- 1996-2003 and 2079-2087. Neptune in Aquarius -- 1998-2012. Chiron in Aquarius -- 2006-2011 and 2056-2061. Jupiter conjunct Neptune -- 2009. Jupiter conjunct Saturn -- 2020 and 2080. Pluto in Aquarius -- 2024-2044. Jupiter conjunct Pluto -- 2033.

I personally think all these wars for religion sake and fanactism has got to be the age of pisces burning out. Of course after blowing ourselves up all over the world what would be left to try BUT love and understanding.

sorry that wasn't suppose to be so cryptic.

Thank you for that Kat. What I don't understand is why the age of Aquarius is AFTER Pisces.

Good question! I'd rather like to know why an 'age' is 2000 years.

I went a googling and the most comprehensive answers seem to be from wikki. I know the wikki references sometimes are doubious but we won't be around for the next 'Age' to give a hoot. :)

At the bottom of the page there are the 'external' link list. There you will find some very interesting sites about ages. oh boy,
I'm getting lost already.

Crikey! Thanks Kat, there does seem to be some reason that they give, I'm just not sure I can get my head round it.
I'll maybe re-read it when I've had a few Margueritas and it might make sense - like so much else in life.
