Question

...just one tiny one. Wine...does it count towards your five portions a day? I mean, it's just grapes isn't it? And if so, then could you just drink five glasses a day? Hmmm...I think we should be told.

I think it does but I'm not a medical professional.

Reminds me of advice someone passed along about how "Chocolate is a Vegetable".

Chocolate is derived from cocoa beans. Bean = vegetable. Sugar is derived from either sugar CANE or sugar BEETS. Both are plants, which places them in the vegetable category. Thus, chocolate is a vegetable.

To go one step further, chocolate candy bars also contain milk, which is dairy. So candy bars are a health food. Chocolate-covered raisins, cherries, orange slices and strawberries all count as fruit, so eat as many as you want.

Ah, B5 (a GREAT sci-fi show of yesteryear), wonderful to have you back, amd such sound advice on diet - which I feel should be followed since you are in the important echelons of health advice for Canadians;)
I wouldn't go so far as to say our group has been dry whilst you've been living it up in the UK, (J always has a good bottle on the go) but it's good to have a drinking buddy back:)

The Tame Pharmacist reckons wine is definitely 'fruit'!
